Follow-up Comment #3, bug #65518 (group octave):

Replacing the regular expression with a simple `QRegularExpression expr
{"(\\w+)"};` fixes it for me.
But like I wrote earlier, I don't understand the reason behind the backspace
characters in the regular expression. So, this might break something else.
