I moved octplot which is also hosted at sf.net from cvs to svn.
Although I do not have as much traffic as octave-forge, I had no
problems ever since. The migration was automatic and painless, and
aside from all the benefits of svn, users can get the latest copy read
only with no delay as in the sf cvs repository.

I know there has been talk of moving octave to svn, and I seem to
recall that there was not sufficient justification for the move, but
maybe sf.net's shoddy cvs support can justify octave-forge's move to
svn.

Yes, those changes are also needed, but there are some more that I
just made today.  But now can't get diffs because of Source Forge CVS
problems.  I was able to check out a fresh copy earlier today, but now
I am unable to generate diffs or check out a new copy.
