Normally, there should also be a substruct function, whose .m implementation is quite straightforward. I copied the one from Matlab for my own usage, which is pretty bad from a copyright point of view. So, if anybody could commit one, it would complete the subsref/subsasgn support (having looked at the Matlab implementation, I guess I'm
