Just wanted to report that Michael Goffioul got me through my build isses with MSVC (two small changes to oct-stream.cc and patched source to readline). He also solved the plotting problems I had both with cygwin and MSVC by pointing out the DISPLAY variable I had in my environment. Many thanks to MG and John Eaton for their porting efforts.
