2.9.15 --> 3.0

I think all these items have been handled, along with most recent bug
reports.  Is there anything else that should be done before 2.9.15?
The changes to the contour functions?  Please let me know as soon as
possible because I plan to make 2.9.15 later today (afternoon US
Eastern time).
