Perhaps making a configure switch for that would be a good idea. Or a
switch for automatic inclusion of "using namespace octave" in a
suitable place.  Also, there probably should be a  #define indicating
that the namespace is in use, so that people can write packages
compatible with both 3.0 and 3.2 versions.
Ideally, any package in OctaveForge should be able to work in 3.2
after a trivial update.
