Checking if Octave was linked a library?

Hi,
  Is there a way (from Octave) to test if Octave was linked against a  
specific library? Specifically, I'm not linking against QHull and HDF  
at work, which causes some failures during 'make check'. So, I'd like  
to patch the tests to only run if Octave was actually linked against  
the corresponding library.
