| Thanks. There is an additional problem I forgot to mention.
| In libcruft, mkf77def is applied to all files within libcruft, including
| C/C++ files. This leads to the extraction of a garbage symbol 's'
| in cruft.def and MSVC fails to link, because of the undefined reference.
Does this patch fix the problem?
