Additional item in build /doc/interpreter problems

I have made the build run through, but there
is a remaining error which I think is not part of
the problem of building the *.texi files. The error
message is:
/home/godfrey/mdg/software/octave/devel/hg/octave/doc/interpreter//arith.texi:838:
Cross reference to nonexistent node `doc-dot' (perhaps incorrect
sectioning?).
makeinfo: Removing output file
`/home/godfrey/mdg/software/octave/devel/hg/octave/doc/interpreter/octave.htp/index.html'
due to errors; use --force to preserve.
make[3]: [octave.html] Error 1 (ignored)
