I tried a few simple find() commands after the changeset
to allow find('a').

When I did: help find
Octave hung.  No response to ctrl-C.  Had to be
killed from another window.  I tried a few experiments
and found that other uses of find, like find(eye(3)),
do not cause the hang.  And, if I run Octave locally
I have not been able to cause the hang.

The hang happens when I have ssh'ed into another machine
and run:
find('a')
find('a')
find('abca')
help find
>>hang here<<  requires kill -9

I repeated this and the hang always occurred with this
specific sequence.
I ran this sequence under gdb and the bt is attached.

Michael
