I don't think it was ever transported to the 3.2 branch and anyway the 3.2 branch isn't going to see any new releases from what I understand. If your ifelse() is compatible with octave's it would probably be helpful to get that somewhere in octave-forge. Is there a forward-compatiblity/backports section on octave-forge?
