My inquiry below was made through the MathCloud website, through the Forum link, which is the only way I found to ask a question.  Could you enlighten me on how to do this properly (e.g., a link to the proper forum).  I couldn't find any other way.  Thanks.

I am new to MathCloud.se. I tried to run a script on MathCloud, but I see
that fopen() is a forbidden command. Can someone explain how I can open a
file to write my simulation results into?

Also, I see that the financial package is not installed. Is there a way in
which I can access commands in this package?

Thanks.

MathCloud is independent of Octave development. Please make your inquiry at the MathCloud website.

However, for security reasons, I'm confident you're not permitted to open a file server hosting MathCloud.
