I can recheck this.  I did get failures before when ssh connecting
from fairly slow DSL.  But, having NX working is, I think, also
important.  All known application run correctly under NX (even (!!)
matlab -- which also uses OpenGL).  So, while the timing is affected
a lot, I am pretty sure that they obey the rules...
