Equalis Octave group

Apologies to anyone seeing this a 2nd time.

Equalis (www.Equalis.com) has opened a group dedicated to GNU Octave.  I'm
administering the space and am interested in getting thoughts from members
of this forum on features and focus of the group that can best support the
Octave community. Equalis itself and the Octave group space are relatively
new, so there is opportunity now to push things in the right direction. 

I'm hoping this group will provide a gateway to the main Octave pages,
another means for new users to discover Octave, and spaces to collaborate
and share information. The social network layer at Equalis is focused on
open source mathematics software but also has forums for various topics in
mathematics. So, there will be visitors/members of the site that did not
arrive looking for Octave, but are interested in similar applications and
might be persuaded to give it a try. 

Any thoughts are appreciated.
