Sorry, I of course didn't mean to say that you should do it. I meant
to praise you because I thought you were already doing it, or your
scripts were.

I like this idea. It supposes internet connectivity, but that's a
reasonable assumption. The missing_function could then use this list
to suggest looking in a 'Forge package. Is this a way a patch should
go?

FWIW, your proposed text seem fine to me. It basically said exactly
what jwe thought it should say.
