Did I mention it builds significantly faster?

With clang and llvm-g++, both from Apple:
 
time make -j 24
...
real 3m9.225s
user 46m20.673s
sys 5m45.742s

With gcc and g++, both from Apple:

time make -j 24
...
real 5m1.606s
user 64m43.338s
sys 5m54.598s
