How are you handling the split? Splitting the monolithic release tarball
at build time or using the small source tarballs from Octave-Forge?
Planning on using the individual source tarballs. There are no more
monolithic release tarballs that I am aware of.
You might want to have a look at the Makefile at
http://git.debian.org/?p=pkg-octave/octave-pkg-dev.git;a=blob_plain;f=octave-pkg.mk.in;hb=HEAD
While the targets are obviously Debian-specific, some code might be of
use to you -- like the extraction and running of tests for .m and .cc
files.
I'll take a look.
