more patches for iterative linear solvers

Hi,

I am working on improving compatibility of linear iterative solvers with Matlab 
and I just submitted a few patches:

<https://savannah.gnu.org/patch/index.php?7482> adapts the bicg function from 
octave-forge for addition in Octave proper
<https://savannah.gnu.org/patch/index.php?7483> improves the Matlab 
compatibility of the bicgstab function

I also fixed a minor bug in the gmres patch I had submitted some time ago an 
submitted the improved changeset as a follow-up here:

<https://savannah.gnu.org/patch/index.php?7463> add the mgorth and gmres 
functions

Does anyone have time to review these and maybe push them?
