Here's a scenario to think about: $3.00 per download: gets you a user support ID
to attach to an email for "special service" or just bragging rights, a working
binary, and an automated thank you from JWE.  Half of the 300,000 current
downloaders go find a free copy somewhere, half think "wow, I gave less than
that to homeless people this week" and pony up the visa card. $3.00 * 150,000
per year is real money, at least by academic standards.... 

(Hell, I might buy 2 copies...)
