gl2ps bug?

I noticed a problem with printing of images today.

The stable branch looks ok, but the default branch does not correctly render 
images.

        demo ("colorbar", 1)
        print colorbar_1.png

I tried backing it out, and have confirmed the problem is with the lastest 
update for gl2ps (changeset below)
