Doug,

I'm happy to help.

Can you give me a simple script that demonstrates the problem.

Jordi and I  have started looking at it.

I ran octave in db

I then did
plot(1:9)
and double clicked in the window with the right mouse button.
it crashed, and then I got a back trace

I have graphic.cc in an editor now, but am not sure where the problem is yet.
