Doug,

MacOS is a mono-click mouse (no left/right). Normally, the right mouse button is simulated by ctrl+mouse-click.

However, I don't see any difference between a mouse actions with or without the ctrl key.

What functionality do you have with the right vs left mouse button ?

If you press the right mouse and then drag it, and then release  you will have drawn a box on the window  to zoom into.
