I don't know. It works for me with hg 2.2.2 and git 1.7.10 on a Debian system.
On my desktop (where it hangs) I've got: ----------------------------------------- address@hidden ~]$ git --version git version 1.7.9 address@hidden ~]$ hg --version Mercurial Distributed SCM (version 2.1.1) (see http://mercurial.selenic.com for more information) -----------------------------------------On my laptop I have mercurial 2.1.1 as well but git-1.7.10, and I just saw it works OK there.
So, apparently git-1.7.9 is too old. Something for the wiki? Thanks, Philip
