MinGW build error (3) No rule to make target `corefcn/libcorefcn.la', needed by 'octave-config.exe'

With recent tip, (parent: 15242:4da650457377), build now breaks consistently
in /src with:

Cloned fresh sources on my Linux box, transplanted them to my Windows
desktop, in MSYS ran . /autogen.sh

What should I do now?
