I fully agree with JordiGH.
It is his time he spents on fixing this bug. Would you (the reporter
of the bug) work for free doing stuff you don't even like or need? I
think the proposal of JordiGH is more than fair. Mind you, free
software is not about free beer. If you are not willing to pay JordiGH
(although he already invested 6 hours of his lifetime) go and find
some other developer who will do it for free.
