OK, fixed now.

Intruigingly it turned out that svn changes from July 2012 were actually
transferred, but svn changes dating from June before were not. (Go figure)

Anyway the main point is that (AFAICS) all patches etc. since java-1.2.8
have now been integrated in core Octave.
