Ok, I changed the display name of the PPA to "development preview" and add some 
text to the description. Mike, Carne, please check and feel free to correct if 
neccessary.

As to Jordis suggestion I put the my changes to a repository 
(https://github.com/dac922/octave-pkg-octave) and build the package with 
git-buildpackage.
