I don't believe I have a separate application template for SOCIS. As I
recall, their questions in the application are almost the same as for
GSoC, except that they ask about what relevance Octave has for space
exploration. I remember I mentioned applications like interferometry
and engineering designs for rocketry via the signal processing package
and FEM. I can no longer access the actual application in the SOCIS
website from last year.
