And Ctrl-Q does work if the focus is somewhere other than the command window.
The key bindings need to be different in the command window. We also want to be able to support different styles of key bindings in the command window (Emacs, vi, whatever custom thing you want). Those of us who like Emacs key bindings should not have to suffer because the rest of you like some strange Windows style GUI key bindings. :-) And we would also like for them to be more easily configurable as well, but that may take some time.
