Hi there,
Why can't octave just start up in a ssh session with no DISPLAY?

warning: X11 DISPLAY environment variable not set
Warning: lt-octave-gui: cannot connect to X server
Tested on GNU Octave, version 3.7.7+ (2013-11-22) built on centos 6.4.
