This topic has already been discussed in the past. But with the recent inclusion of QtHandles into octave source tree, did you (jwe) take a decision? I didn't see anything in the changeset that indicates atomic reference is turned on when using QtHandles. Did you find another work around?
Just asking as otherwise, you can expect a bunch of bug reports with octave crashing when doing this or that.
