Another thing I note with the 3.8.1-rc3 & -rc4 is that the command:

pkg load auto

will echo all PKG_ADD commands related to the relevant packages (at least,
on all Windows systems I've tested so far).
This doesn't happen in 3.8.0. I wouldn't call it a regression but I do find
it annoying.
