Ben,

Yes, I started with patch 8398 but it required re-writing linkprop.  Then I
re-wrote linkaxes based on the new linkprop behavior and the patch
submitted.  I'm waiting for the reporter to get back to me on how he wants
to be acknowledged before committing it.
