Hi Jordi,

I'm CC'ing Bradley from the macports project with whom 
we discussed a plan to fix this kind of problem for more
than just Octave.

The plan is to add to macports the functionality to create
relocatable .app bundles from a given package and its complete
list of dependencies.

Our idea was to propose this as a project for GSoC 2015,
but if you would like to help us get started now that's of course
good as well.
