Octave directory, current directory, working directory: all the same?

Could the name be standardized so that one could always refer to it as, e.g.,
"working directory"?
It'd help in the translation work.  It'd also prevent some long
constructions, e.g., "Octave current directory", and potentially minimize
confusion with other directories (e.g., File Browser directory).
