So, could you upload 08P26I12.mat and process.m somewhere so that we can
repeat what you did? much more useful than a workspace dump.

While you're at it, please also mention the full result of the command:

pkg list
## (in both 3.8.2-4 and 3.8.2-5)

That'll make it a lot easier to find out exactly what went wrong. Now we can
only guess ....
