Hi Andreas,

I could find https://github.com/tufei/octave-forge-video. Please look
at http://octave.1599824.n4.nabble.com/Fork-of-Octave-Forge-video-package-td4658017.html
for discussion about that fork. Looks like it is started from a older
version as base. I will have a look at it.

I could not find any other fork in github.

Regards,
PrasannaKumar

Hi John,

I had some changes I did a month or so that made it compile with latest
mpeg
- I can send them to you if you want.

Yes please. Will have a look at it.

From memory, I never actually tried it in linux to see if the resulting
code
would work. I know I did in Windows, and found that the ffmpeg libraries
generated in mxe-octave would cause octave to crash. It they were used
outside of octave, they would work.
I never got back to looking at what the problem actually was.

I would check it in Linux, will not be able to test in Windows.

Thanks and regards,
PrasannaKumar

You should also have a look at github. There are at least two forks of the
video package.
