octave 4.0

I’m looking for octave 4.0 on a redhat system. I have epel-release installed and up-to-date. But when I run

yum install octave

It looks like I’m getting an octave 3.x version; the install terminates with the errors:

Transaction Check Error:

  file /usr/bin/octave-bug-3.0.5 from install of octave-3.0.5-1.el5.i386 conflicts with file from package octave-3.0.5-1.el5.x86_64

  file /usr/libexec/octave/ls-R from install of octave-3.0.5-1.el5.i386 conflicts with file from package octave-3.0.5-1.el5.x86_64

 

Error Summary

What is the best way for me to update my octave from octave-3.0.5 to 4.0?  The reason I ask is that I’m trying to use the image package which appears to depend on >4.0.0. http://octave.sourceforge.net/image/
