About project idea in GSoC

Respected Sir,

         I am a second year undergraduate student of Information and Communication Technology with minor Computational Science engineering at DA-IICT ,India. After going through the project ideas I am very much interested in applying for projects Improve Octave's image IO or Interval package because I have good command on c and c++ and I am computational science student I am well familiar with m-scripting and I have done algorithm course in my engineering so I can do better modeling in above projects.

What should I have to do next?? Reply me as soon as possible.
