I think the best way to stop the e-mail is for you to go to the page
https://lists.gnu.org/mailman/listinfo/octave-maintainers
At the very bottom, click on the button that says
'Unsubscribe or edit options'.
A page will appear that contains instructions and a button
labelled 'Unsubscribe'.

IS IT POSSIBLE TO STOP THESE EMAILS?
LIAM CANNOT PARTICIPATE ANY MORE!
HIS FAMILY IS TAKING CARE OF HIM AND WE REALLY DO NOT NEED THIS MASSIVE
QUANTITY OF EMAILS!
THANK YOU!!

Hi,

One of the requirements for GSOC mentoring organizations is the following:

 • Ensure that your organization's profile page is complete and accurate.
Keep your ideas list up to date. Make sure the logo looks good. (A logo
that contains the organization name in readable letters is suggested.)

The current logo does not include the project name.
Independent of GSOC I think it would be better to have also a version
of the logo with the project name on it.
I think someone was already working on this at OctConf (maybe JPi & jwe?)
is that available somewhere?

Here's a link to the SVG file:

I like the logo but I think the text path isn't quite right. I've taken the
liberty of making a modified version (attached) in which the text alignment looks
better (to me). I hope you don't mind. (I haven't redone the original grouping,
for fear of getting it wrong.) (Inkscape, under File > Document Properties,
shows the licence as being proprietary. Is that intentional?)
