The patch is at [https://savannah.gnu.org/bugs/download.php?file_id=37834]. 
When I said I'd post it, I meant on Savannah, not on the list.  Sorry to
leave you waiting.

JWE suggested a more major change (renaming members instead of arguments) so
it won't be applied any time soon.  Still, you can use it for your own
builds.
