I will try to compile it tonight and let you guys know.

@Ben: you compile with clang, right? Can you please try to install the latest 
odepkg with 4.2.0? There is something fishy with Fortran and we are not sure 
who is guilty (mac, octave core, clang, odepkg, ...), see
