Windows binary packages of gnuplot 5.0.5 were uploaded to the SourceForge site
of gnuplot, recently.
https://sourceforge.net/projects/gnuplot/files/gnuplot/5.0.5/
I do not have enough time to try to build gnuplot 5.0.5 on mxe-octave
but will be not difficult to build it.
I hope that someone try gnuplot-5.0.5 on mxe-octave.
