rotx,y,z functions in core octave ?

Regarding the fairly simple rotx, roty, and rotz functions proposed at

That report includes a patch to include them in the OF geometry package, but it was suggested by the package maintainer that they should be implemented as part of core octave under geometry.

Thoughts? If agreed I can prepare an alternate patch.
