I've fixed that. The tarball job builds now, the i686 and x86-64 builds
still fail as before, since something changed in the build environment
around 2016-05-06.

The remaining link error for the past year has been

  /nix/store/ld68ry8b1447kjdi2qqx7mbn2iqnnxvs-binutils-2.23.1/bin/ld: cannot 
find -ltiff
  /nix/store/ld68ry8b1447kjdi2qqx7mbn2iqnnxvs-binutils-2.23.1/bin/ld: cannot 
find -llzma
  /nix/store/ld68ry8b1447kjdi2qqx7mbn2iqnnxvs-binutils-2.23.1/bin/ld: cannot 
find -ljpeg
  collect2: error: ld returned 1 exit status

These libraries are present in the build environment AFAICT. This error
is beyond my ability and patience to debug for now, help welcome.
