ecdf function in statistics package

Hello:

According to help ecdf

"
the 'ecdf' function belongs to the statistics package from Octave Forge
but has not yet been implemented
"

To confirm this, the ecdf function appears in the "missing functions"
section of statistics package
(https://wiki.octave.org/Statistics_package#Missing_functions) and
there is not present in the statistics installation folder in my
computer

But apparently there is an ecdf.m implementation in the NaN package,
which shadows some core Octave function (ranks, car, center, etc.)
Which is the correct place for ecdf?
