Here is a changeset for src/octave.mk and makeinst_script.sh

In addition I've put simple batch files to invoke Octave in the dist/bin
subdir, manually by putting them in ./usr/i686-w64-mingw32/bin directory;
they're also attached here.

I haven't found out how to make a proper changeset for them (that is, where to
put them initially in a pristine mxe-octave tree)
