Follow-up Comment #2, patch #8491 (project octave):

Would be possible, but then the file would have to be renamed for
installation, because in its installation directory (usr/local/share/info/ or
something, if not configured otherwise) it will usually be among the systems
info files. I thought it's better if the file is not renamed, to avoid
confusion, but maybe this is not so important.
