Follow-up Comment #1, patch #9073 (project octave): These are two separate issues, I believe: 0. gcc wanings about shadowing member functions. That is a duplicate of bug #48493 which has been closed as won't fix. Recent versions of gcc will no longer give warnings for those (it still warns for many other shadowing, just not for local variables shadowing member functions) 0. failing to build with 512 MB.
