Hmm, is this an fltk problem, or an exrdisplay problem? exrdisplay
doesn't do anything explicitly with fonts. I wonder if it's missing
something.

No idea, haven't seen that one myself. Do you have more info? If so,

yes, they are freely distributable. I should put a clause indicating such
in the tar file.
